I work on a study called MIDDEL: Music Interventions for Dementia and Depression in Elderly Care.

The title of my research project is – Positive Approach to Care (PAC): A Realist Evaluation Study. The study will explore and evaluate the use of a novel model of dementia care, Positive Approaches to Care (PAC) in UK social care settings, specifically UK care homes.

I am doing my doctorate in the area of public health. My area of expertise involves people with a migration history with dementia, intersectionality, discrimination in the health system, and inequalities. In the current research project, I focus on the preferences of people with a migration history experiencing dementia by bringing an intersectional perspective.
