My doctoral research investigates identity construction in Chinese individuals living with dementia through narrative analysis and linguistic insights to develop culturally-sensitive psychosocial interventions. In parallel, I am exploring the potential of virtual reality (VR) and bilingual interventions to enhance person-centered dementia care practices.

I graduated from the Faculty of Nursing in 2016 and worked for three years in intensive care units, where I gained clinical experience in caring for older adults, including people living with dementia. I subsequently completed my Master’s degree in Internal Medicine Nursing.

In 2025, I completed my PhD, which focused on supporting caregivers of people living with dementia, including the development of a mobile health application. As part of my doctoral research, I conducted qualitative interviews with informal caregivers, which provided in-depth insights into the challenges experienced in the dementia care process.

I am currently working as a doctoral researcher at the University of Bremen, focusing on dementia care research. My research interests include caregiver support, psychosocial and digital interventions, social health, and dementia care for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
