JAIN activities in collaboration with INTERDEM and AE

The Joint Artificial Intelligence Network (JAIN) organizes various activities in close collaboration with INTERDEM (a.o. with its taskforce Assistive Technology) and Alzheimer Europe. All activities can be found here:  https://www.jainprojects.com/

Some of the activities are; 1) the World JAIN Challenge for the most appreciated AI product and for an AI prototype that aims to support people living with dementia, submissions can be done till January 28, 2022; 2) monthly webinars about AI and dementia; 3) and the newest fast growing activity is the JAIN Young Professional (JYP) team with the JAIN Academy! Goal is to get a large, easy-accessible international and interdisciplinary network of students motivated in the field of AI and dementia, and to raise awareness of the important area of AI and living well with dementia. 

Our share knowledge and innovations aim to:

1.        Live at home in the familiar environment for as long as possible;

2.        Increase the self-reliance, co-reliance and quality of life of people with memory loss;

3.        Improve support for relatives, informal carers and healthcare professionals;

4.        Make healthcare costs more efficient and effective.
