BLOG – Special Section on INTERDEM Academy in Aging & Mental Health

We are pleased to announce a special section on the INTERDEM Academy to be published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal Aging & Mental Health. AMH covers the biological, psychological and social aspects of aging as they relate to mental health. Its emphasis is on rigorous quantitative, and qualitative, research, and high quality innovative studies on emerging topics.

The response by the INTERDEM Academy was great: we are happy to have received a total of 40 abstracts. On the basis of several eligibilty as well as quality criteria, 13 INTERDEM Academy members have been invited to submit their full manuscripts. During the summer, these manuscripts will undergo peer review by INTERDEM as well INTERDEM Academy members, after which a final selection of approximately 8 articles will be accepted for publication. We are confident that the AMH Special Section will be a great opportunity for our early stage researchers to showcase the excellence of their individual projects and the success of the INTERDEM Academy network.
