BLOG – Experiences Summer School INTERDEM Academy 2016
The second INTERDEM Academy Summer School MultiDem: “Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Dementia” took place on 4-8 of July at the University of Nottingham with 29 early stage researchers from 9 European countries attending. It was a week filled with informal discussions, interactive group work, dementia care excursions, and in-depth classroom lectures. Thank you to the speakers, participants, and the Institute of Mental Health.
“We all left with an expanded awareness of the many advantages of multidisciplinary collaboration in dementia research, as well as with an expanded network of highly capable and motivated future peers from across Europe. (..) The Summer School is definitely worth recommending for PhD students and early postdocs in the field of dementia.”
Emma O’Shea (Ireland) and Anders Møller Jensen (Denmark).
An evaluation report of the Summer School can be found on the INTERDEM website.
