{"id":6995,"date":"2019-02-08T09:47:54","date_gmt":"2019-02-08T07:47:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/interdem.org\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2019-02-08T09:47:54","modified_gmt":"2019-02-08T07:47:54","slug":"next-interdem-academy-masterclass-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/interdem.org\/?p=6995","title":{"rendered":"Next Interdem Academy Masterclass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to announce our\u00a0fifth\u00a0INTERDEM\u00a0Academy\u00a03-day Masterclass in collaboration with INDUCT (<u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dementiainduct.eu\">www.dementiainduct.eu<\/a><\/u>).<em>,\u00a0<\/em>this time taking place at\u00a0Kings Cross\u00a0<strong>London<\/strong>,\u00a0UK. Members of\u00a0INTERDEM\u00a0Academy\u00a0will be very welcome to participate in this Masterclass\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>Wednesday the\u00a015<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of May\u00a0until Friday\u00a0the 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of\u00a0May\u00a02019<\/strong>.\u00a0This school provides you with a\u00a0<strong>selection of topics related to dementia<\/strong>\u00a0and a focus on\u00a0<strong>skills and career development<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>late-stage PhD\u2019s and early post-docs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The aims of the\u00a0INTERDEM\u00a0Academy\u00a0Masterclasses\u00a0are twofold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Firstly, we seek to broaden the scope of our early-stage researchers by enhancing their understanding of the complexities in research directed towards people with dementia and by applying this knowledge to reflect on their own research projects.<\/li>\n<li>Secondly, we would like to provide our\u00a0Academy\u00a0researchers with the opportunity to get acquainted with their junior and senior colleagues within both the\u00a0INTERDEM\u00a0as well as the\u00a0Academy\u00a0networks, in order to set the basis for future collaborations\u00a0across Europe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Program<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please find <a href=\"http:\/\/interdem.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Program-3-day-Interdem-Academy-Masterclass.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>\u00a0the program for the 3-day Masterclass.\u00a0This Masterclass will provide you with a selection of topics related to career and skill development (green), methodology (blue) and dementia care (yellow).\u00a0The program is still subject to minor changes \u2013 a more detailed course book including information on how to prepare will be circulated later.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Registration fee and instructions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<table width=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"385\"><strong><em>INTERDEM\u00a0Academy\u00a0registration fee<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"57\"><strong><em>\u20ac300<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>The registration fee includes admission to the event, coffee \/ tea, and lunch.
