It was published in October 2018 in the journal Dementia.<\/p>\n<p>The article describes the results of a collaboration between scientific researchers from INTERDEM, practice (long-term care) and education (architecture) on how to design dementia-friendly gardens within nursing homes. Often, outdoor spaces in nursing homes are inaccessible, unfit and poorly designed for people with cognitive impairment.
