INTERDEM member Professor Louise Ann Robinson, NIHR Research Professor, will become a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to Primary Care

Professor Louise Robinson was recognised in the Queen’s New Years’ Honours List 2019 as ‘Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire’ for services to Primary Care.
INTERDEM is proud of our distinguished member who is a great ambassador for GPs who play a prominent role in the research and care for people with dementia.
Talking about her Damehood Professor Robinson said:” I am overwhelmed and absolutely delighted to be recognized in this way for what, to me, has not been a job but a lifetime passion to improve the care of older people, especially for those living with dementia.”
