Position paper Taskforce Assistive Technologies now published

The Interdem Taskforce Assistive Technologies has published their position paper on Technologies to Support Community-Dwelling Persons With Dementia, see here.

This paper describes the state of the art and challenges in the fields of development, usability, (cost-) effectiveness, deployment and ethics of technologies to support community-dwelling people living with dementia. Also, various actions in these fields are recommended.

Twenty members of the taskforce Assistive Technology collaborated in this paper. The taskforce, led by dr Franka Meiland, prof Anthea Innes and prof Manuel Franco, was founded in 2012 with the aim to promote effective collaboration among Interdem members in the field of technological support in dementia.
