New INTERDEM Academy fellowship

The INTERDEM Academy enables fellowships for early stage researchers allowing them to spend 3-6 months abroad at another PRIDE or INTERDEM site. We are delighted to announce that the Spring 2016 fellowship has been granted to Ms. Laura O’Philbin. Laura is a PhD student researching digital life story work and reminiscence for people living with dementia and their caregivers. She is based in the Dementia Services Development Centre at Bangor University in Wales. Her fellowship will enable her to spend three months with prof. Kate Irving and her team at Dublin City University to exchange expertise and experience in her research area in addition to exploring the applicability of her work in the Irish context. Furthermore, this fellowship will be instrumental in establishing further connections and links between the two research centres.
